Responsible for implementation of following at SI DG EA PRO Factory at Goa Location..
  • Drive EHS Culture to achieve Zero Harm through proactive measures.
  • Implementation & monitoring of IMS (Integrated Management System) according to International Standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001). Drive the EHS implementation
  • Identify potential risks & suggest mitigating measures. Support line managers in integrating EHS at planning phase & its implementation.
  • Implementation of EHS Policy, guidelines, procedures & compliance to legal requirements etc.
  • Organize & conduct monthly EHS round & meeting with Factory manager.
  • Selection, evaluation & performance monitoring of Contractors working in factories including a system of penalties & incentives.
  • Identify training needs, plan and organize training program on EHS at different levels.
  • Plan and conduct EHS assessment of the factory & take corrective/preventive actions promptly.
  • Identify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and ensure corrective /preventive actions. Review & analyze UA/UC & follow up for compliance.
  • Incident/Accident reporting and communication, investigation, analysis & recommendation of corrective & preventive actions.
  • Periodic reviewing of Emergency preparedness plan & carrying out mock drills. Coordination with internal & external partners on EHS topic.
  • Liaison with local authorities for statutory EHS related compliances
  • Co-ordinate with the Factory Heads & other stakeholders for EHS implementation.
  • Co-ordinate with SI BU & Operating Company EHS Head, including Health Management on specific EHS tasks assigned.

We are seeking for a BE/ Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical, Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety with consistent track record and minimum 6 to 7 years of experience in Knowledge of Legal & applicable statutory requirements of EMS & Health & Safety. You are a certified Lead/ Internal Auditor of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. This job is based out of Goa.
